My favourite band
My favourite band at the moment is the Russian band - SLOT. There are five in the band:  Daria «Nookie» Stavrovitch - female vocal, Igor «КЭШ» Lobanov - male vocal, Sergey «ID» Bogoljubskiy - guitar, Nikita «NiXon» Simonov - bass guitar, Kirill «Мr.Dude» Kachanov - drums.
There some biography of that band. 
Slot was formed in 2002 in Moscow, Russia. In 2003 they released their debut album “SLOT 1”.  In Autumn 2005 the band were nominated for the RAMP Award "The best vocal of the year".
  The band have been featured on numerous soundtracks for films such as “Day Watch”, “Pirate”, “Bumer” and “ Hunting for Piranha”. They have also been featured on compilations such as Nashestvie, Scang Fest, and Rock Watch.  In Autumn 2006 the band released their second album “2 Warz”, fuelled by the nationwide hit single of the same name. The video for the song was aired on various national television stations (MTV Russia, Muz TV, A1, O2TV and Music BOX ). Due to the massive success of the album and the single, the band were once again nominated for the prestigious RAMP Award in four categories. They were the only band with this number of nominations in 2006. They went on to win “Hit Of The Year”.
In Fall 2007 they released their third, highly anticipated album “TRINITY”. The video for the first single “Dead Stars” was released to Internet and national video stations in the fourth quarter of 2007. They have toured with Russian bands such as: Animal JazZ and The Dolphin. They have also toured extensively with internationally known bands such as KORN, Clawfinger, and SAMAEL. In 2007 they performed along ARIA at the RAMP Awards. In spring 2007 the band embarked on a fifty-date tour of the Baltic region, where more than fifty thousand fans came out to support them. Their album “Trinity” has sold more than fifteen thousand copies in the first month of release.
 And the latest albom that I know is "4ever". My favourite songs from that album are "Alfa Romeo + Beta Juliette" and "Sky".  At present they are continuing to tour Russia and the Baltic region extensively. 
I like very much this band and I was at their concert this summer. It was very exciting! :)) It was on the music festival "Nashestvie" with many other bands like: Animal jazZ, Amatory, Stigmata, Tracktor bowling and so on. I know most of them. I like this band because they are playing my favourite style of music - alternative rock. Last single - "Alfa romeo + Beta juliette" made in the style of metalcore. That style of mysic i like too. They sing about philosophy and love. Else I'm listening that band because their songs match to my mood. I feel that music. When I'm listening that, I remember the exciting summer days and nights. And of course nookie has nice vocal :) , and other band members play great, live and energetic music.

Dear Mr Handley,

      Yesterday I had opened my english student's book and saw interesting text about your Action Academy. 
I have read interesing information: how people doing stunts, and how tutors teaching students how to do that. I have read about stunts with fire and the most difficult stunts - jumps. I think doing stunts is risky but very exciting. Else I saw many action films with stunts. After that I decided to write letter to you to take me to the Action Academy.
      There I will give some information about me. I'm studying in Tallin's Centre Russian school and will go to the good university in Europe or Russia. If you took me to the academy, I would go there after university. I'm writing so early, because my english teacher asked to write this letter as a hometask. I would like to come in august 2015, it's so soon. :)) 
      I'd like to know more information about academy, lessons and studying conditions in your school. And I'm interested about people and living in australia. I'd like to know more about that. Can you send me a letter with information?

Tessa's weekend
Tessa had a very great time last weekend. She went to a music festival where they played a big variety of music: Rock, Pop, Latin, R"n"B, Jazz and so on. They hadn't taken any food, because there were many places, where they could buy some food. There were a lot of dishes like Turkey, Japan and Indonesian meals. There were people from age of 18 till 30 and some children. Party was great, but there were some problems with toilets. At the party were too many people, but not enough place. There was very crowded. Tickets cost 70£, It's expensive to teenagers. But Tessa enjoys the party, and there was really fun. "It was great weekend"- said Tessa.
