Letter about film
Dear Meg,
It was very nice to hear from you. You writed me about your favourite film. It's "Lord of the ring's". I like this film very mush too, but my favourite film is "Nightmare on the elm's street". I'll tell you about it.
This film is great. I'm not quite sure what I liked more - The breathtaking scenery of the places where the story is set, the wonderful special effects or the horror story line.
There I'll tell you some information about film history.
A Nightmare on Elm Street is a 1984 American slasher film directed and written by Wes Craven, and the first film of the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. The film features John Saxon, Heather Langenkamp, Ronee Blakley, Amanda Wyss, Jsu Garcia, Robert Englund, and Johnny Depp in his feature film debut. A Nightmare on Elm Street was met with rave critical reviews and went on to make a very significant impact on the horror genre, spawning a franchise consisting of a line of sequels, a television series, a crossover with Friday the 13th, a remake, and various other works of imitation.
And about story of the film.
The story is set in the fictional Midwestern town of Springwood, Ohio, the plot revolves around several teenagers who, if they fall asleep, will be killed by Fred Krueger in their dreams, thus causing their deaths in reality. The teenagers are unaware of the cause of this strange phenomenon, but their parents hold a dark secret from long ago.
I recommend you to seee this film, because it very interesting. If you like horror films, you'll like this film, because it's classical horror film. you can see old 1984 film or new remake, what was filmed in 2010. I like more the oldest one, but new one has more special effects.
I do not think, that this film teaches us something, but you can watch it just for fun.
